Production of music for SFH soundtrack I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to visit Kano in Northern Nigeria back in March 2008. Whilst I was there I arranged with the State cultural society to interview and video some of the cultural group artists and musicians. A couple of months later I was approached by Straightline films to compose a theme track for a documentary they were busy producing in Nigeria.Looking thru my files for interesting sounds I had recorded in Nigeria I refered back to this session with the Kano Cultural group. This is the original recording from which I built my rythm section for the theme tune. ----------------------------------------------------- |

After much time compression, tuning, cuting and pasting I managed to sit the recording into the theme tune quite comfortably. Appologies to the Audiophiles ( the original source material was recorded thru my Sony stereo mic on camera) Below is the final Music track produced without any Voice Over. To the right is the final mix with the video offline.
